Pantaloon’s Partner Game for April is…

Time for a new game for you. A new puzzle. A new voyage of cosmic importance.

Yes, for April we're partnering with Bithell Games and Lunar Division to bring you The Banished Vault; a strategy game of exploration, endurance, and space travel on an interstellar gothic monastery.

In our next Bold and Bizarre Bulletin - which is due on April 23rd - we'll have a new challenge for you, allowing you to guarantee your key. I'm not sure what your maths is like, but you're going to want to brush up. Primo subscribers have their key in the bag already, of course.

April is going to be fun.

A strategy game of exploration, endurance, and space travel

Let me tell you, as a fan of anything interstellar, maths and monochromatic art styles, The Banished Vault ticks a lot of boxes me. Boxes being ticked all over the ruddy shop here.

The Banished Vault is weird and cerebral in equal measure; a game where you'll "explore hostile solar systems, construct outposts, and craft precious materials to keep your crew alive.

During the long hibernation between suns, expand the knowledge and ability of your exiles, and delay the arrival of The Gloom.

The Banished Vault is a run-based strategy game of solar system exploration, resource and crew management, and outpost construction.

Features

  • Unique gameplay and solar system presentation using simplified but realistic math.

  • Challenging and permanent decisions reward planning and careful play.

  • Tense risk management and exploration involving dice challenges and unforeseen outcomes.

  • Gorgeous hand-drawn art and board game style aesthetic.

  • A stark and hostile original setting inspired by Alien and The Book of the New Sun.

  • An extensive and carefully written manual that combines tutorial, game explanation, and reference guide.
