Sub-Verge is OUT NOW on Steam and Itch.io

SALUTATIONS! Today is a big day for our plucky new publishing label. Sub-Verge - the psychological narrative puzzle game from Interactive Tragedy - is OUT NOW, launching into day one of LudoNarraCon, bringing the game to Steam with a bit of narrative-fanfare.

Sub-Verge is a small game, but does some ambitious things on the narrative front, tying its puzzle-logic to character motivations and the wider world-state. It makes for a very unique type of puzzle game where story comprehension is key to progression.

I’m convinced that Interactive Tragedy and their founder/creative director Zach Dodson are going to be huge names in the narrative game space one day very soon, and what they’re cooking up with Kuu (game 2) looks exceptional.

We’re lucky enough to have partnered with Gareth Damian Martin and the Fellow Traveller folks for an In Other Waters x Sub-Verge bundle, bringing together two narrative games with watery themes into one neat package (thanks to Ben Kosmina for pushing this forward with us). I know Zach has huge respect for Gareth’s work, and there’s certainly some overlap in terms of narrative design - so this couldn’t be a better bundle-partner for the game.

A Heartfelt Request 🙏

Ok, time to call in a big favour.

For small games and teams like ours, Steam Reviews can be make or break. If you enjoy what's on offer in Sub-Verge - or just want to support what we're trying to do here at Pantaloon - please leave a little review. It helps more than you can imagine, and Pantaloon will be in your debt. We won't forget it.

There we go then. Onwards!
